ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Women's Tennis All-SIAC teams and individual honorees on Friday, as voted by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
Valerie Essome, Benedict's No. 1 singles player, was named All-SIAC in singles. Essome went 12-7 overall and 10-3 against SIAC competition, all at No. 1 singles.
Carmen Kpadonou was named the Women's Tennis Freshman of the Year. She went 11-8 overall and 10-3 in SIAC play during her first collegiate season.
Essome was also named the SIAC's Elite 16 Award winner, presented to the player named to the All-Conference team with the highest GPA.
